JOB ORDER POLICY
Please Read Carefully: This is a Final Contract

In an attempt to better service our clients, you the client MUST follow our policy in order for us to complete your job in a timely fashion.  Your collaboration in submitting  ALL information regarding your job order (size, colors, copy, & design specifications) to Design Majik as soon and as thoroughly as possible, will aide us in processing your order in a professional manor.  Failure to do so may delay completion of your job. This letter serves as a company disclaimer in case the client fails to complete the job order properly. 

1. Once a job has been sent to print the order cannot be cancelled.  Print only jobs are just that “PRINT ONLY” we will not make adjustments or modify your print only files. Files that are supplied to Design Majik digitally that do not explicitly follow our guidelines are not eligible for reprint or refund. Design Majik will not accept shipments that are returned with out prior authorization. Please contact customer service for proper RMA instructions.

2. Production and delivery times are not contractual. If your item is time sensitive plan well in advance. There will be no refunds for jobs that do not arrive by your “deadline”. Jobs will be shipped per your original invoice unless you choose to pay for a shipping upgrade due to any time issues. Your order will not ship unless all shipping charges are paid in full.

3. Design Fees are non-refundable regardless if the design is used or not. Your payment needs to be received in full prior to beginning work on your order. There will be no cash refunds except for jobs that are not printed minus any design or handling fees. Design Majik may also charge up to 15% cancelation fee for orders that are canceled after the order is processed for production to pay for restocking.

4. Design Majik extends ONE (1) FREE text change per job.  Each additional change to the artwork or text will cost an additional $75.00 per hour. Fees for changing artwork must be paid prior to changes being made.

5. Customers must proof work designed by Design Majik. Jobs will NOT go to print until Design Majik receives a signed “Design Approval” form or some other form of written approval via fax or email. We cannot assume responsibility for spelling errors, missing or incorrect information that you fail to submit or correct.

6. Please understand that the design/print production process is as much an art as it is a science.  Occasionally there will be delays due to technical malfunctions, equipment failure, or file problems. We will make every effort to keep these events from affecting production and/or delivery of your order.

7. To provide you with the significant price discounts we offer, we produce our product in a "gang run" format. We will make every effort to produce a reasonable representation based on your supplied materials but you must be aware that we do not guarantee color matching. Due to the nature of gang run printing it is standard that the color may shift up to 10% which also includes darkening. In addition, files submitted digitally that do not explicitly follow our specifications are not eligible for reprinting or a refund. All gang run printed postcards and flyers are back trimmed. Meaning they are not exact size. Customers are asked not to place any critical text or image closer than 1/8th of an inch from the edge of the image as it may be cut off as stated clearly in our file guidelines.

8. We stand behind our work. If you are unhappy with the quality of the printing or cutting, Design Majik will be happy to discuss a possible reprinting your job free of charge or a partial printing credit depending on the nature of the problem.

9. All designs created by Design Majik are copyrighted and can only be reproduced with Design Majik's approval. Any reproduction without Design Majik's approval will be subject to fines per copyright law. Fees for the authorization of printing Design Majik's artwork elsewhere will be at Design Majik's discretion.

10. If your printed piece is going to be mailed, please plan your quantites appropriately. The industry standard for shrinkage on printed pieces could be as much as 5% of the total quantity. We always print overs but please understand that finishing (folding, diecuting, perffing, mailing, etc...) requires setup of a machine using your printed piece and could cause shortage in your job. Please plan appropriately when ordering.

By signing this contract you agree to all the terms listed above and understand that this contract will be in effect for all jobs from the date on this contract until such time as Design Majik may revise the contract.
